Neymar cries as Injury rules him out of both legs of UCL Games against Man Utd

The chances of Neymar featuring for PSG in their UEFA champions league tie against Manchester United has been labelled as slim due to the star player suffering another metatarsal injury in a French Cup win over Strasbourg in midweek.

Examinations show that Neymar has a “reactivation of the lesion of the fifth right metatarsal,” and has been told he has no chance of travelling to Old Trafford for the first leg on February 12.

According to PSG boss, Thomas Tuchel, the severity of the injury suffered by Neymar may also have him ruled out of a second leg clash with Manchester United.

“It will be very difficult to have him with us to play against Manchester United.

“It will be very difficult. As I said yesterday, it is too early to speak about his return.

“To start with, we must wait at least one week – this and his reaction to treatment will be vital.

“Only then can we be more precise. Still, it is no secret, it will be very tough.”

PSG has however been able to continue their unbeaten run in Ligue 1, with a comfortable 4-1 win over Rennes, despite the absence of Neymar, their £200million forward.
