Baba Suwe admitted to LUTH over chronic Diabetes (Photo)
Veteran Nollywood actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, has been admitted at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
The 60-year-old who is currently battling chronic diabetes was taken to the hospital in Idi Araba, Lagos State on Friday.
Report says the actor’s admission was facilitated by the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and also assisted by the Federal Ministry of Health.
The news of his illness broke out a few days ago leading the actor to get tremendous support from his colleagues in the movie industry and also well-meaning Nigerians.
One of those who contributed for the recovery of Baba Suwe is vice president Yemi Osinbajo who donated N1million yesterday.
