Canadian comedian Boyd Banks lands in trouble for Licking and Kissing a CBC Reporter on Live TV (Video)

Canadian comedian, Boyd Banks has been accused of sexually harassing a CBC reporter on Live TV.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night at Comedy Bar, a comedy club in west Toronto, where CBC reporter Chris Glover was reporting from during the event Just For Laughs. A “town hall” which was held by the Canadian Association of Stand-Up Comedians.

While reporting live, two comedians stood behind Glover popping their heads over his shoulders, before Comedian Boyd Banks then began licking his ear and kissing him in the neck.

Banks has since apologized for his behaviour and admitting that he is guilty of everything he’s been accused of.

“I am an idiot, and there’s something wrong with me. I’m not making excuses. I want to apologize to the stand-up community in Canada and, of course, the reporter who was doing his job.”

The Canadian Association of Stand-up Comedians, which held the event Glover was covering, also issued a statement apologizing to Glover and calling Banks’ actions “despicable.”

But according to Pedestrian.tv, the CBC reporter has filed a police complaint against the comedian for violating one of the most obvious rules of human interaction: ‘don’t put your tongue on strangers when they’re just trying to do their jobs.’
