Court remands Babachir Lawal In EFCC’s Custody

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered that the former Secretary to the Government of Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, be remanded in the EFFC’s custody pending determination of his bail application slated for tomorrow Wednesday, February 13th.

The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had earlier on Tuesday arraigned him before the court on a 10-count charge of fraud which he pleaded not guilty to.
