It’s time to have a Major Gay Character in Disney – US Politician

US Congressman, Sean Patrick Maloney has called on Disney to feature its first major gay character, an idea he believes kids would love.

Sean Patrick Maloney, who is an openly gay New York representative, made this known in reaction to Disney’s soon to be released movie Frozen 2, which many have speculated would reveal one of the characters – Elsa – to be gay and with a girlfriend.

Maloney revealed that he’s down with the idea of having a major gay character in a cartoon because, according to him, most of Disney’s movie themes go in line with the true life stories of many people in the LGBT community.
