#NigeriaDecides2019: Buhari declines Comment on Election Result
President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he won’t comment on election result of Saturday’s polls being rumoured until when INEC releases the final result.
According to Daily Trust, Buhari made this statement while speaking at the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja from Katsina state on Monday.
“I don’t want to depend on rumours, but we will rather wait for INEC to announce the results” he said
On his message to Nigerians, he said,
“Well l hope that Nigerians will appreciate that it is this government that made sure that they were able to cast their votes in a secured and peaceful environment for whichever party and candidates they wanted.
Recall that the president arrived Katsina state on Friday to cast his vote for the Saturday’s presidential and national assembly elections.
