Atiku Abubakar has won defeated President Muhammadu Buhari in the presidential election in Benue state.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party polled 334,923 votes while Buhari of the All Progressives Congress had 140, 463 votes.

Valid votes – 511,586

Rejected votes – 31,191

Total votes cast – 542777

97 polling units affected due to malpractice affecting 63048 voters.
