#NigeriaDecides2019Result: INEC officially declares Atiku Abubakar winner in Abia State
Former vice president and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has defeated President Muhammadu Buhari and candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, in Saturday, February 23, held in Abia state.
The total valid votes were: 323,291 and Atiku Abubakar polled: 219,698 while President Buhari secured: 219,698.
It was gathered that although Buhari lost Abia state, he scored 26.32 per cent, above the 25% threshold.
