#NigeriaDecides2019Result: INEC officially declares Buhari as Winner in Kwara State
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has declared President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner in Kwara state.
The electoral umpire made the declaration in Abuja on Monday, February 25.
According to INEC, Buhari won in 15 of the 16 local governments in Kwara State in last Saturday’s presidential election.
Buhari scored 308,984 to defeat his closest rival, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who polled 138, 184.
