Notorious Gang ‘Awawa Boys’ are back in Agege – Residents cry out
The once annihilated Notorious gang, ‘Awawa Boys’ are back in the Agege area of Lagos State after about 3 years of hibernation.
A few years ago, the cult group reigned terror in the area but they went underground after their inner circle was infiltrated and busted by officers of the Lagos State Police Command.
They are reportedly back in the town and terrorizing residents of the area.
Residents have taken to social media to call out for help:
‘at about 8:30pm yesterday, Awawa Boys numbering about 150+ unleashed terror along Dopemu Road, Agege. Commuters in traffic were robbed of their phones, wallets and cash. Some were beaten mercilessly’.
please do something about the notorious AWAWA boys in Agege, they robbed people their valuables around 8:30pm in agege, they were numbering about 150 boy.
At about 8:30pm yesterday, AWA Wa Boys numbering about 150+ unleashed terror along Dopemu Road, Agege.
Commuters in traffic were robbed of their phones, wallets and cash. Some were beaten mercilessly.

Agege and environ have been dealing with the menace of awawa and federal boys for years. To think the lots of this gangs are aged below 15 makes you wonder what their parents are doing allowing their children do what ever at such age. no be only govt o.
