SDP suspends Jerry Gana, Donald Duke for anti-party Activities

Election 2019: Jerry Gana drags Donald Duke to Supreme Court over SDP Presidential Ticket

The Social Democratic Party (SDP), has suspended its two presidential candidates, Professor Jerry Gana and Mr Donald Duke, from the party for alleged anti-party activities.

The party’s Director of Media and Publicity, Yemi Akinbode, announced this during a press briefing at the party’s secretariat in Abuja on Tuesday, February 12th.

This decision comes days after a faction of the party adopted President Buhari as its consensus candidate for the Saturday, February 16th presidential election.

Both Duke and Gana are yet to react to their suspension.
