Banky W praises his Mother as he wishes her a Happy Birthday (Photos)

Popular Nigerian singer Olubankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has proved just how much a backbone mothers are to their kids.

The singer praised his mother as he shared a beautiful photo of her praying for him.

In the photo, it could be seen that the singer’s mother who is celebrating her birthday this Friday, March 1, was praying for him and his wife, Adesua, on their wedding day.

Banky W captioned the photo on Instagram with a long note praising his mother for all she has done for him. The singer noted that his mother has always been a prayer warrior who taught him that prayers always get answered.

He also described her as someone who is a trusted friend, a loving mother, a shoulder to cry on, a guidance counsellor and many more.

The singer turned actor also thanked his mother for all she has done for all her children and also wished her a happy birthday.

This picture, more than most, depicts one of Momma W’s most important roles in the lives of all of her children. She’s been many things to us.. a loving mother and a trusted friend. Sometimes, she is a shoulder to cry on and other times a kick up your backside. Sometimes, a guidance counsellor and other times, an Investor. A teacher and a Pastor. A doting parent and a disciplinarian. But always and forever, a Prayer Warrior. Always the first person in the world I want to call when I need those heavy-duty-miracle-working-prayers. She taught me one of my life’s most important lessons: Pray without ceasing, and then work as hard as you can until those prayers are answered. She is living proof that if you believe in God, believe in yourself and work hard, dreams can come true, and prayers do get answered.
