A video currently making rounds on social media captures the moment a Lagos politician identified as Segun Adewale also known as Aeroland slapped a female BBC reporter for recording him.

In the clip posted via the BBC Pidgin’s Twitter, the politician and some unknown persons proved to be hostile company for the journalist who was heard insisting that she did not record the man.

The scene appeared to be at a polling unit where voting was taking place.
