Natasha Akpoti, Senatorial candidate of the SDP in Kogi State accuses Governor Yahaya Bello of torturing the Youth Leader of her Party

A chieftain of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kogi State, Natasha Akpoti, has accused governor Yahaya Bello of abducting and torturing the youth leader of her party for 20 days.

The Senatorial candidate of the SDP in Kogi Central in the just concluded National Assembly elections made this known on Twitter on Sunday, March 3.

Akpoti added that the governor kept the youth leader, Friday Ovoro in the government house to admit that she gave him guns.

She also accused the Senate and the Nigerian police of turning a blind eye to the torturing of Ovoro.

She wrote: “Dear @MBuhari & @ProfOsinbajo, look at what Yahaya Bello Gov Kogi St did 2 my youth leader Friday Ovoro.

“Abducted & tortured for 20 days in Kogi Govmt house to admit I gave him guns.

“Sad the @NGRPresident, @PoliceNG & @hrw turn a blind eye to this evil. #Natasha #Akpoti #SDP.”
