Nicolas cage files for Annulment of Marriage, just 4 days after Wedding

Nicolas Cage has filed for an annulment of his marriage to Erika Koike, just four days after they tied the knot.

The ‘Con Air’ actor – who was previously wed to Alice Kim, Lisa Marie Presley and Patricia Arquette – made a court application for a license in Clark County, Nevada, on Saturday (23.03.19) and reportedly tied the knot with his partner Erika Koike on the same day.

TMZ says Cage, 55, returned to Clark County Court House in downtown Vegas this week to request a judge invalidates his nuptials to girlfriend Erika Koike.

News of the annulment request comes after footage appeared to show the actor screaming at Erika.

He could be heard shouting that Erika, 34, was going to “take all of his money” as they obtained their license, according to DailyMail.com.

Shocked onlookers told the site that dad-of-two, Cage, seemed “very out of it” and “most likely drunk”.

The Face Off star was also seen “speaking to himself” while walking around with his hands on his hips. Erika reportedly came back at Cage, saying: “I never asked you to do this.”

Annulments are awarded when a marriage is legally void, which Cage is believed to be arguing based on him being intoxicated when the pair wed in Las Vegas.

However, court documents claim that if the annulment is not awarded, Cage will pursue a full legal divorce to terminate the four-day marriage.

Cage – who lives in Las Vegas – has largely kept his relationship with the make-up artist out of the spotlight but they were first romantically linked in April 2018 when Koike was seen with him in Puerto Rico while Nicolas shot a movie.

Cage was in the past married to Patricia Arquette, with rumours swirling that they separated nine months after they tied the knot in 1995.

He married Lisa Marie Presley in 2002 but they filed for divorce just three months after. His marriage to waitress Alice Kim lasted the longest, from 2004 to 2016.

Last October, Nicolas admitted he was “shocked” when he and Kim – the mother of his 13-year-old son Kal-El – split in January 2016 shortly before he started shooting his movie, Mandy.

He said:

“It was a shocker for me – I definitely didn’t see it coming, and those feelings had to go somewhere, so they went into the performance.”
