BREAKING NEWS: Oil Wells currently on fire in Ondo State

Report say no fewer than five oil Wells are currently on fire in Ondo State after a fire broke out on Thursday morning in Ajegunle-Ikorigho community and spread to parts of Ojumole which is located in Ikorigho land.

The oil wells affected by the fire are said to include Isan-West field, Parable field, Malu field, Ororo and Opokaba.

The inferno was also reported to have affected Otumara, Ikorigho, Ajegunle-Ikorigho, Zion Ikorigho, Iluayo, Kendo Ayeren and Ehinmoghan-Ikorigho communities.

The cause of the fire had not been ascertained and it is not yet known if there are casualties.

Spokesman of the Ondo state police command, Femi Joseph said that he is yet to be briefed about the incident.
