DELSUTH Doctor leaves Woman in Theatre, refers her to his Private Clinic

A Delta State University Teaching Hospital, DELSUTH doctor has allegedly abandoned a patient in the surgical room after her family refused to heed to his advice of taking her to his private hospital.

The report was posted on social media by popular social media influencer, Japhet Omojuwa, who was allegedly contacted by the son of the patient.

The medical doctor allegedly asked the family of the patient to pay N1.2million into the account of the private hospital, despite making an initial payment of about N1million at the DELSUTH.

Omojuwa, who posted the story had written:

His mum was admitted at the Delta State Teaching Hospital. They had paid over N1m for her treatment. The same Doctors who abandoned the mum are suggesting they pay another N1.2m to a private hospital for her to get treatment. How is this not criminal?

Nigerians on social media have however condemned the action of the medical doctors involved and some are already making moves to investigate the case and report to the appropriate authorities.
