FG responds to Dremo’s call, fixes Third Mainland Bridge

The Federal Government has responded to Dremo’s call for the expansion joint in the third mainland bridge to be fixed with immediate effect.

Some days ago, DMW rapper, Dremo shared a video showing how the joint had weakened from use and how it was a potential hazard to road users.

He wrote on his Instagram page;

“The 3rd mainland bridge is getting weak, this is something we need to fix!! #SaveLives cc @jidesanwoolu@akinwunmiambode @profosinbajo@muhammadubuhari”

The Federal Government has now made moves to fix the bridge as a civil engineer with the government, Engineer Abubakar Muhammed, shared a photo of work ongoing on it.

Sharing images of the joint being fixed, Engineer Abubakar Muhammed wrote;

“Firstly we appreciate @dremodrizzy, for sharing the picture of the expansion joint at the 3rd Mainland bridge. This is a picture to show how important the life of citizens are to the Engineers.“
