People now abuse based on number of followers one has – Adesua Etomi

Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi has reacted to the new trend whereby people get abused based on the number of followers they have on social media.

This new trend is common among g celebrities who feel the number of followers on their page gives them a status that places them above others.

In a tweet, Adesua Etomi wondered when the number of followers one has become a thing that validates us in life.

She tweeted:

Welcome to this generation, where people can now abuse you based on the number of followers you have. E.g “see her/him…she/he doesn’t even have up to 500k followers.” Like…I mean…but wait…see ehn? Followers! Is that now what validates us?
