Suspected rapist pleads to marry 16-year-old girl he allegedly raped in Delta (Video)
The video of a man begging to marry a 16-year-old girl that he raped some time ago, has surfaced online.
Activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who shared the video online, revealed that the alleged rapist, Sam Nkem Ezenwa, defiled the 16-year-old SS3 student.
The victim was asked by her neighbour to help him buy some items and on getting to his apartment, she met him and Ezenwa in his room.
The neighbour asked her to wait and left her in the room with Ezenwa who locked the door, increased the volume of the music that was being played and forced his way on her despite her numerous pleas. After the abuse, the girl left with her bloodstained pant.
She later went on a closed group on Facebook to ask if anyone can help her get justice and she was immediately directed to Gwamnishu.
After much investigation and trailing, the suspect was apprehended inside a private hospital yesterday April 10th. He has been handed over to the police. While on the way to the police station, the suspect was filmed pleading to marry the victim.
