UCL: Tottenham qualify for the semi-finals

English Football Club, Tottenham qualify for the semi-finals in the 2018/2019 Champions League after defeating local rivals Manchester City on away goal advantage.

The match although ended 4-3 in favour of Manchester City, but Tottenham Hotspur had defeated the Premier League title contender with a lone goal in their first leg encounter.

Manchester City players who thought they had qualified, had celebrated a goal scored by Raheem Sterling at the 93rd minute of play.

The goal was eventually ruled out by the referee, but not until after Mauricio Pochettino has pulled his shirt over his head and Pep Guardiola hugged everyone in sight.

Another English team, Liverpool also qualified for the Champions League semi-finals after edging out Portuguese team, FC Porto.
