Adamu Mohammed CONFIRMED as New Inspector General of Police

Adamu Mohammed has been confirmed as the Inspector General of Police by the Council of State. Before now, he was the acting IGP.

He was appointed in the acting capacity on January 15th after taking over from former IGP, Ibrahim Idris. He served at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos, Plateau.

His confirmation was announced at the Police Council Meeting presided over by President Buhari in Abuja today May 23rd.
