Danny Baker kicks after BBC fired him for Chimpanzee Royal Baby TWEET

Radio 5 Live broadcaster, Danny Baker has lashed out after he was fired by BBC for posting a chimpanzee picture which appeared to mock Meghan Markle and Royal baby Archie.

Shortly after Meghan Markle left the hospital after giving birth to Archie, Danny Baker took Twitter with a picture of a chimpanzee which he captioned:

‘Royal baby leaves hospital’

Danny has since been fired by BBC after the tweet was perceived to be racist and against Meghan Markle’s roots.

Lashing out at his former employer, he tweeted:

‘The call to fire me from @bbc5live was a masterclass of pompous faux-gravity. Took a tone that said I actually meant that ridiculous tweet and the BBC must uphold blah blah blah.
‘Literally threw me under the bus. Could hear the suits knees knocking. #F***em.’

Fans of Baker and his radio show agreed with him and defended him as ‘not having a racist bone in his body’.

One supporter wrote:

‘Sorry to hear the news! Saturday mornings simply won’t be the same!! F***-em!!’

However, others were not as sympathetic, with one tweet reading:

‘Even if you did that by accident (I don’t believe you did) you deserve to be fired. Media personalities should consider everything they post.’

Meanwhile, one person felt he wasn’t ‘literally’ thrown under a bus

‘If they “literally” threw you under a bus you wouldn’t be tweeting right now.’
