Nigerians react as Leah Sharibu clocks 16years in BOKO HARAM DETENTION
Leah Sharibu who was one of the girls abducted by Boko Haram terrorists in Dapchi has clocked 16 years in detention and Nigerians have taken to social media to send their congratulations.
Leah was one of the more than 100 girls abducted from their school, Government Girls’ Science and Technical College by the terrorists in Dapchi, Yobe state.
While other girls were ultimately released, Leah was held back for reportedly refusing to renounce her Christianity faith.
On Tuesday, May 14, Nigerians took to social media to celebrate her birthday. While many prayed for her safe return, others used the opportunity to charge the federal government to intensify effort to rescue to young school girl.
