President Buhari and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu break Ramadan fast together (Photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC national leader had dinner together at the presidential villa in Abuja.

The president took to his official Instagram page, last night to share pictures of himself and Tinubu and he captioned it;

“this evening, I broke my Ramadan? ?fast with the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

In the pictures, President Buhari and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu can be seen walking side by side, all smiles as they head to the dining for their meal.

Earlier this year, President Buhari praised Tinubu, his party APC chieftain on his 67th birthday, calls him a pillar of democracy. Buhari in a statement via his spokesman, Femi Adesina, wrote;

“Asiwaju’s uncompromising posture in the face of injustice and refusal to follow the path of least resistance for personal gains stand him out today as a rare breed and one of the cornerstones of Nigeria’s democracy, especially with his track record of persistence, consistency and effective leadership.

“As the father of modern Lagos state, the President commends the visionary and inclusive leadership style that the Asiwaju provided for the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria for eight years, laying the foundation for a modern and technologically-driven city, and ensuring that every successive leader in the state sticks with the masterplan of a greater Lagos,” he said.
