Stonebwoy finally arrested by Police after GUN STUNT at the 2019 VGMA

Stonebwoy has finally been arrested by the Police in Ghana after he pulled out a gun on Shatta Wale at the Vodafone Ghana Music Award, VGMA 2019.

According to reports by starrfm.com, the Dance Hall singer was arrested by the Greater Regional Police Command and he is currently being held at the Regional police headquarters.

Stonebwoy was invited by the police to the station for his statement concerning the recent gun stunt he pulled in public.

Early this morning, there were reports that Stonebwoy had been arrested by the police, but it was later confirmed to be untrue. Stonebwoy himself came out later to confirm he had not been arrested.

He posted a picture of himself with the counter-terrorism unit of the Ghana Police Service who had escorted him home following the scuffle.

He subsequently apologized for the incident, saying he pulled out his gun “out of natural instincts.”

Reports also have it that stiff rival Shatta Wale is scheduled to be invited to the station over the same incident, it further reported, quoting unnamed sources.

Stonebwoy pulled out a gun when Shatta Wale and his team run to the stage after the winner of Reggae-Dancehall artiste winner was announced.

Shatta Wale in a statement revealed that he had gone on stage to congratulate the artiste and not to cause any mayhem.
