'To say I'm saddened by the news of Adewura's death is an Understatement' - Runtown

The circumstances surrounding the death of 26-year-old Adewura Latifat Bello who went missing on May 15, 2019, in Lagos and was later found dead in a canal continues to generate a lot of reactions from Nigerians.

While many LP readers have shared their thoughts on the issue, many others are speaking about it on social media and sending love and prayers to her family.

Popular singer, Runtown has lent his voice on the issue tweeting, ‘to say that I am saddened by the news of Adewura’s death is an understatement. A manhole? Whose responsibility was it to ensure that it was covered? Who should be held accountable? This was an avoidable loss. Sending strength and love to her family and loved ones’.

Below is an exclusive video obtained by LIB showing the heartbreaking moment the 26-year-old accountant, Adewura’s body was removed from the drain where she met her untimely demise.

She’s currently being buried today at Morikaz cementary, Agege-Lagos.
