Kakaaki boycotts airing of Programme in Protest against NBC
A boycott of the broadcast of AIT programme, Kakaaki, has been announced following a threat from the National Broadcasting Corporation, NBC.
NBC threatened a few days ago to shutdown Kakaaki over claims that the programme broadcasts offensive and divisive contents.
The programme has now announced plans to boycotting airing in protest against the threat as demanded by fans of the show. According to the organizers of the show, their press freedom is being infringed upon.
They tweeted:
