Portugal are the First Ever UEFA Nations League Champions

The Portuguese National team have won the maiden edition of the UEFA Nations League after defeating the Netherlands in the final.

The current European Champions won the final match 1 goal to nothing thanks to a strike by G. Guedes in the 60th minute.

Fernando Santos men have been impressive in the tournament eliminating teams like Italy, Poland, Switzerland before defeating the Netherlands in the final.

This is the Selecao’s second international senior men trophy they have won in all competition after they clinched the European Championship in France in 2016.
