A British couple was left ‘mortified’ after one of them sent a seemingly innocent holiday photo to her parents back home only for them to spot something very embarrassing in the snap.
In the picture, 22-year-old Kelsey was pictured with boyfriend Elliot posing for a mirror selfie. She later sent the photo to her mother via WhatsApp but her eagle-eyed father zoomed in and spotted a bottle of Durex lubricant on the counter.
Kelsey took to Twitter to share the subsequent text exchange, along with the caption: ‘Sorry dad. Will not be sending more holiday pics in a hurry.’
The post reveals Kelsey’s mother replied to the picture, saying: ‘Dad said the pics r lovely, nice durex bottle [sic].’
Hospital worker Kelsey attempted to cover up for her ‘mortified’ boyfriend by claiming it was his ‘knee cream.’
Her mother then replied: ‘Dad zoomed in!’
Kelsey later added: ‘Ell is mortified.’
Responding on Twitter, one person wrote: ‘Aw man you can’t come home from that holiday.’
Another person added: ‘This is something I would do. I am mortified at the same time for them.’ A third added: ‘Absolutely howling at this.’
