#BBNaija 2019: Jackye emerges Winner of Pepsi ‘Know The Lyrics’ Challenge

Big Brother Naija housemate, Jackye has emerged the winner of the Pepsi “Know The Lyrics” Challenge. She defeated Seyi Awolowo in the final of the competition to take the crown.

Biggie gave housemates lyrics of 5 songs (Fever by Wizkid, Nwa Baby by Davido, All Over by Tiwa Savage, Green Light by DJ Cuppy and Case by Teni) divided into 17 parts for them to memorise on Tuesday with the instruction that they will hear the songs on Tuesday but will be tasked to sing along to the instrumental on Wednesday.

After almost 24 hours of practice, the housemates begin the challenge on Wednesday, the first song instrumental played was Fever by Wizkid, Mercy, Sir Dee and Khafi were disqualified after this song for singing when it was not their turn.

The next song instrumental was Green Light by DJ Cuppy, Thelma and Tacha lost after this challenge as they were unable to remember their potion of the lyrics.

The third song instrumental was All Over by Tiwa Savage, Frodd, Ike and Gedoni were kicked out after this song for not remembering their lyrics.

The fourth song instrumental was Nwa Baby by Davido, at the end of this instrumental, Esther, Mike, Tuoyo and Omashola were asked to leave the challenge for not singing along according to the lyrics given to them.

For the Semi-final Big Brother gave the 5 remaining housemates new songs to practice. 3 housemates, Nelson, Diane and Jeff were kicked out after the first semi-final song.

Seyi and Jackye made it to the final, both housemates tied after the first song but Jackye beat Seyi to the crown after the second song in the final.

She has now won N1.5 million and a trip to Dubai.
