#BBNaija 2019: Seyi emerges Winner of this Week’s Veto Power Card

Grandson of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and one of the contestants of the popular reality TV show, Seyi Awolowo has emerged the winner of this week Veto Power card.

Every week all of the remaining housemates in the Big Brother Naija house compete for the Veto Power card. The competition happens on Sunday evening after the week’s live eviction show, the winner of this card gets the Veto power card which gives him/her the power to Save and Replace a nominated housemate during the live nomination show, a certain number of ‘Bet9ja’ coins which is 100 at this time and the Veto Power badge.

The housemates participated in a game of chance in which each housemate pick a stood and stand close to it, on each stood is a card which is covered, after the housemates have all selected their individual stood they are to reveal the card. Housemates that had a green mark on their cards proceeded to the next round while those with ordinary cards are eliminated from the competition.

5 housemates (Omashola, Seyi, Gedoni, Ike and Tacha) were the ones that proceeded to the next round. In this round housemates were to spin a wheel, The wheel has several options which 2 of them have the word “Veto” written on them. After 2 rounds of spin by the 5 housemates, Seyi was the only housemate that landed on “Veto”.

He was rewarded with the Veto Power card, 100 ‘Bet9ja’ coins and the Veto power badge.

Seyi now has the option to save any housemate that is up for possible eviction during the nomination show on Monday.

Frodd was the previous winner of the Veto Power card.
