A horrifying video shows the moment a piece of raw meat appears to crawl out of a customer’s plate in an Asian restaurant.
In a viral video, the pink piece of meat is seen wiggling on the plate, before pulling itself off the side and falling onto the restaurant floor. The movement of the meat shocked diners and elicited a horrifying scream.
The shocking video was shared on Facebook by Rie Phillips, who lives in Florida, and has started a conversation as people wonder how possible it is for dead meat to move. Some have said the video is fake and the meat was pulled away by a piece of string.
But others said the meat may have moved because it was so fresh, meaning its muscles were experiencing spasms.
One commenter said: “It was so fresh because some of the muscles are still firing off signals.”
Jodinna Bartlett wrote: “It’s most likely skinned live frog..its quite common in (I think) Asian countries like Japan … poor creatures.”
