I am not your friend if you don’t celebrate my Husband - Modele Fatoyinbo

Modele Fatoyinbo, wife of embattled pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly church, recently called out members who are not celebrating her husband and joining many Nigerians in bashing him since the news of him being an alleged child molester emerged online.

Recall that the Fatoyinbo’s empire was intact until a mighty ball dropped and dared to crush the rooftop. Busola Dakolo had accused Fatoyinbo of forcefully taking her purity at age 16.

Her confession led to Biodun stepping down from the pulpit as scores of Nigerians protested at his churches a short while ago.

While the pastor remains unseen and unheard, many Nigerians still take to social media platforms to blast him and make memes about his lifestyle.

Surprisingly, some church members who are now mostly former, have joined other Nigerians to demand justice be served and that if found guilty, the pastor should do his time.

Despite that, some COZA members still choose to defend their pastor and it was some of them that Pastor Modele was speaking to on Sunday, July 7, when she stated that those who aren’t celebrating her husband at this point in time are not her friends.

“I’m not your friend if you don’t celebrate this man. One of the things that I say about my husband is that I would have never had the opportunity — I used to be so shy to talk to one person. I used to let him do all the talking because I was a very introverted person. But he was able to help me see, like he was able to help a lot of us see, that there was greatness in me. So, I don’t have a problem standing before you this morning. The Lagos church, the Ilorin church, the Port Harcourt church — anywhere he is, Pastor Biodun is the father of that church. I’m not your friend if you don’t celebrate this man,” she said.
