Nigerians call me Liar Mohammed on Social Media, please don’t believe them – Lai Mohammed appeals to Senators

Lai Mohammed today appealed to members of the Nigerian Senate to ignore a group of Nigerians that refer to him as Liar Mohammed on social media.

The former Minister of Information made this appeal when he appeared before the senate for his screening as a Ministerial nominee.

According to Lai, many people have falsely accused him of being a liar. While introducing himself to the Senators, Lai said:

“There is only one thing I want to draw your attention to on my CV. It is about my name. My name as it appears on my CV is correct which is Lai Mohammed. Please, don’t believe what they call me on social media. They call me all sorts of names there.

“I used to ignore it until my seven-year-old grandson asked me, ‘Why do they call you Liar Mohammed?’ I told him, ‘Don’t mind them. They are the bad guys”.
