BREAKING: Supreme Court dismisses Davido’s Uncle, Ademola Adeleke Application, Affirms Oyetola’s Victory

Supreme Court rules in favour of Gboyega Oyetola, affirms his victory as Governor of Osun State. PDP candidate, Ademola Adeleke who won at the Election Tribunal earlier this year but lost at the Appeal court has also lost at the Supreme Court which is final.

At the ruling today, the seven-man panel led by Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivor gave a split decision with five Justices confirming Oyetola while two consented for Ademola Adeleke.

Delivering the ruling, Justice Rhodes-Vivour dismissed Adeleke’s application and confirmed Oyetola as the rightful winner of the election.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressive Congress will now continue his term as the governor of the South Western state.
