Wayne Rooney’s Wife, Coleen ‘bans’ him from Partying and Boozing as she demands daily calls from him

Coleen Rooney has reportedly set out strict rules for her footballer husband with her imminent return to the UK for summer while he remains in the US.

According to Daily Mail, the 33-year-old mother of four is said to be planning on coming back for the next few months with her son, Kai, nine, Klay, six, Kit, three and Cass, 16 months, while Wayne stays in Washington, D.C. for his football commitments.

Ahead of her return, Coleen has now allegedly banned the footballer from partying and boozing and has also demanded daily phone calls with him during her time back at home in Liverpool. 

Speaking of Coleen’s move back home for the summer, a source has told The Sun: ‘Wayne won’t be joining them due to his football commitments, but she’s said parties and boozing is off limits and she’ll be checking in daily with him.’

Touching upon her marital woes in recent months, it was continued: ‘She devotes herself to her family and after everything Wayne’s put her through she needs to let her hair down and have fun.

‘It’s been a tough year so far and getting back to her roots is exactly what she’s needed.’

This comes the couple went through a series of issues in their marriage. Earlier this year their marriage was said to be ‘hanging by a thread’ after the sportsman was spotted drinking with barmaid Vicki Rosiek until 2.30am.

The January incident came just weeks after he was arrested for being drunk at an airport in Washington DC.

In 2017, the former Everton striker also faced court appearance for drink-driving. He was arrested for driving party girl Laura Simpson, 30, in her VW Beetle in Cheshire while three times over the limit.
