Nollywood actress Monalisa Chinda in a new interview has opened up on why she left her first marriage.
According to the actress, she left her marriage due to domestic violence which started before the arrival of her daughter.
Monalisa who has since remarried made headlines back in 2017 after she took to social media to share her thoughts on domestic violence somehow placing the blame on women.
The actress had advised that women stop provoking their husbands as such act is what leads to them being beaten.
