Ned Nwoko, husband of actress Regina Daniels supports Nollywood donates N10million for care of ailing actors

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ husband Ned Nwoko has shown support for the actors in the Nigerian movie industry.

Ever since billionaire politician Ned Nwoko married young actress, Regina Daniels, the billionaire has supported the Nollywood movie industry in different ways.

Nwoko has shown more support by coming to the aide of ailing actors. The billionaire was said to have donated a sum of N10 million to the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) to support ailing actors.

According to reports, the Niger Delta prince donated the money to the guild to take care of ailing actors and also support the guild’s effort to breach into the Hollywood movie industry.

It was gathered that the AGN president Emeka Rollas paid a courtesy visit to Nwoko with other members of the guild to request financial assistance to enable members to visit Hollywood to tidy up arrangements with Screen Actors Guild of America (SAG AFTRA) and also to take care of ailing actors.

Rollas said: “As Nollywood’s most celebrated in-law, you have demonstrated an avowed commitment to Nollywood and the entertainment industry through various forms of support and assistance. In view of this, we wish to request for your financial assistance to enable us to visit Hollywood to tidy up the twinning arrangements with SAG AFTRA and help contribute to our AGN Trust Fund, which is designed to take care of our ailing actors, who are presently incapacitated and out of jobs.”

The president was said to have been accompanied by Keppy Ekpenyong Bassey, Sanni Danja, Chika Okpala (Zebrudaya), Steve Eboh (Ajebo), Ify Eze, Frank Dallas, St. Maradona Johnson, Alex Usifo Omiagbo, Rita Daniels, former Actors Guild of Nigeria chairman, Delta State and mother to Regina Daniels.
