According to him, rebuilding the group does not have to involve 2baba and Faze due to the fact that he majorly owns the franchise and it’s his personal project.

He said he could decide to bring artistes like Johnny Drille or Seyi Shey to do music for the group. Speaking on the decision to release his own version of African Queen, Blackface explained that he had been seeing so many other upcoming acts making their own versions of the song, with none of them consulting him, despite the fact he wrote most of the song.

This, according to him, had driven his interest in making his own version and singing it the way he really envisioned when he sat down to pen the classic hit.
