#BBNaija 2019: Ike & Mercy are joint Head of House this Week; Ike gets Immunity

Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ housemate, Ike and Mercy have emerged as joint winner of this week Head of House.

There was no way to decide the winner between the 2 lovers so Biggie gave them the option to share the Head of House crown this week, but Mercy selflessly gave Ike the immunity power that comes with the HOH win.

The challenge this week involves housemates throwing a ball into several cups full of water, each housemate gets 3 balls to throw into any of the multiple cups placed together on a table that is a little bit far from where the housemate will stand.

After the first 3 rounds, all other housemates were removed from the challenge as they were unable to get enough balls in but Elozonam, Ike and Mercy were tied so they proceeded to the next round.

After several rounds of missing and getting the same ball in, the game was switched to knockout which means any housemate who can get a ball in while others can’t become the winner. This went on for a while till Elozonam missed his show leaving Ike and Mercy in the game, both took their shot and got the ball in so Biggie gave them the option of becoming joint Head of House but only one of them gets immunity, Mercy told Big Brother to give Ike the immunity. They both will share the 250 ‘Bet9ja’ coins reward that comes with the HOH win.

Ike who nearly won the HOH challenge last week but lost only by a bit to Khafi had been talking about how he needs to win the HOH for weeks now in the house, saying he needs it so him and his lover, Mercy will share the HOH luxury apartment.

This is the first time there would be a joint Head of Houser in Big Brother Naija history.
