According to Shaggi, some heavily armed men not in police uniforms but had ‘anti-cultism squad’ written on their jackets and hats, stopped him around 12am at Lekki conservation road in Lagos.

An altercation ensued between the comedian and the men and one of them proceeded to plant Tramadol in his vehicle. Shaggi’s female passenger noticed it and started to scream saying ‘I saw you, I saw you’.

The comedian was later taken to the station and was even recorded by the police officer saying the almighty Broda Shaggi was caught with tramadol. As it has now become the norm, Shaggi ended up paying N10,000 bail as opposed to the N150k they initially asked for.
