One killed, 19 vehicles burnt in Niger State Tanker Explosion

A tanker explosion which occurred at Dilko Junction in Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State by 10 pm on Friday, August 30, left one dead and 10 others injured.

19 vehicles were also destroyed in the incident while the injured victims were rushed to Umar Musa Hospital in Sabon Wuse.

It was also learnt that firefighters from the State Fire Service who turned up at the scene of the incident with their colleagues in the Federal Fire Service were only able to bring the fire under control around 4:30 am on Saturday morning.
