“I will not blame anyone but our people. The ones who do not see they are kings in the world. This one is worse than suggesting revolution… this one is violent attack on the same people the government wants to keep peace amidst whilst suffering,” he said.

He continued by visiting the issue of South Africans that have resorted to inflicting violence on their fellow human beings. Vector gave a brief recount about his experience in the country alongside popular model, Uti Nwachukwu.

The rap act narrated how a citizen of the country had expressed his complete hate for Nigerians when Uti was reciting the national anthem.

The man, however, made a quick change of mouth when he realized that he had been discovered. Vector said the experience really got to his core. He, however, noted that such had come to play only because of what leaders of Nigeria have made of the country.

Xenophobia my ass…

Africans and their self hate mentality. I will not blame anyone but our people. The ones who don’t see they are Kings in the world. This one is worse than suggesting revolution… this one is violent attack on the same people the government wants to keep peace amidst whilst suffering. I am Nigerian (it feels shameful to say as there is nothing to be proud of beyond being thankful for life and grace). But fuck all the South Africans who think killing the people who are same skin as them Makes sense. In 2010 I was preparing to perform at an event and Uti had just won the tv reality show. You should hear the anger in the voice of a man in the room who shouted how much he hated Nigerians when uti stood in the chair reciting the national anthem. I looked at him immediately and he said “oh no… I like you guys”. Shit make me mad uncomfortable but I know In my heart of hearts that if my country truly stood patriotically for me, this conversation would have been different.
Na our fault say our tradition and practices give us the kind of circumcising that makes your women die there?
Abi Na me say make your ancestors no raise men wey Dey hustle for family?
What exactly is your problem? FEDERAL GOVERNMENT here is an argument for you to think about… if what makes Nigeria a nation is the people (that you obviously don’t care about) and you are one of them, then you have failed yourself and the people you claim to stand for.
All the “strong men” out there, if you truly believe in equality and justice, show it now, whilst we wait for the appropriate offices to do them, do you and protect your families.
