#Xenophobia: Noble Igwe responds to South African Men justifying the recent Xenophobic Attack

Noble Igwe has a question for South African men who are justifying the xenophobic attack on Nigerians in their country by claiming they are protecting their nation from foreigners.

A number of South Africans on social media defended the xenophobic attack on Nigerians by claiming Nigerians in their country are committing crimes and taking their jobs. They said the attack on Nigerians is a way of defending their country.

Reacting to this, Noble Igwe wrote: “South African men claiming they are defending their country from Foreigners, are your women foreigners too ?”

Noble’s tweet about South African women is in reference to the number of women raped, killed and burnt by South African men regularly for no reason.
