40-year-old man accused of raping a two-year-old girl and leaving her in Critical Condition
A 40-year-old man has been declared wanted for allegedly raping a two-year-old girl and inflicting critical injuries on her.
Roberto Lopez, a labourer from Immokalee in Florida with a history of violent offences, is wanted on a charge of sexual battery on a victim under the age of 12, according to Police.
In a now-deleted Facebook post, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office pleaded with the public for help to track down the accused child rapist, labelled an ‘animal’
‘This guy is pure evil and does not need to be on our street,’ Sheriff Kevin Rambosk wrote on the social media page for the office.
Lopez’s arrest records show he has been in and out of jail over the past 16 years on a variety of charges, including driving without a license, multiple DUIs, as well as battery, domestic violence, and fraud.
He faces charges including sexual battery on a child under 12.
