“Now we must learn how to swim” – Lagosians react as heavy downpour leaves some parts of the state flooded
Some Lagos state residents have taken to social media to yet again cry out over the heavy flooding in most parts of the state.
The heavy rainfall for almost two days now is taking its toll on the state leaving most parts seriously flooded and with poor drainage, the traffic on Lagos roads at this time is unprecedented.
See how some Lagosian are reacting below:

The Flood in Lagos is epic.
I practically swam out of my estate.
The flood causes traffic and everywhere is locked down.
From Badore to Lekki Phase1.
What's the way forward?

Lagos rain is a case study because the excuse that the flood is delaying road rehabilitation is truly a mystery. It indicates Envmtl Impact Reports and other preliminaries findings on existing roads managed by the same LASG have been overlooked or not considered to design a plan

You will toss plastics in the drains
Your parents will build houses on wetlands and canals.
When it rains and it floods. You will open your dirty mouth to be saying the govt isnt doing anything
We are the govt. We all have a collective responsibility to make lagos work
