Nigeria clocked 59 years of Independence on October 1, 2019, and citizens have taken to social media to mark the special occasion.

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, took to her Instagram page to share gorgeous photos of herself rocking a green and white themed outfit just like the Nigerian flag.
Aigbe then wished Nigeria a happy 59th birthday in her caption. She wrote: “Happy Independence Day to my beloved country Nigeria”
