Nigerians tackle Pastor Adeboye over his Prayer which was deemed Selfish

Pastor Adeboye’s prayer which was shared on social media has stirred controversy amongst users of micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) General Overseer’s prayer centred on the suspension of protocols, rules and criteria just like God did for Joseph.

The prayer read;

“Father, let all protocols, rules and criteria be suspended, overlooked and overruled, as You did for Joseph, in order for me to be promoted, in Jesus’ name”

However some Nigerians felt the prayer encouraged nepotism and mediocrity.
