‘Mad Men’ actress Christina Hendricks files for Divorce from husband Geoffrey Arend after 10 years of marriage
American actress, Christina Hendricks has officially filed for divorce from her husband, actor Geoffrey Arend.
The Mad Men actress, 44, filed documents in Los Angeles on Friday to legally end her 10-year marriage to Geoffrey, 41, just weeks after announcing their separation in October, according to TMZ.
In the documents, Christina listed their official date of separation as April 19, 2019, and has also requested to restore her last name to Hendricks.
She also requested that the courts terminate the ‘ability to award either spousal support and handle the attorney’s fees separately’.
The pair who got married in New York in 2009 announced their split back in October.
Taking to Instagram, the Mad Men star, 44, and her husband, 41, each shared an identical post confirming they had gone their separate ways.
They began the post: ‘Twelve years ago we fell in love and became partners. We joined our two amazing families, had countless laughs, made wonderful friends and were blessed with incredible opportunities.’
‘Today we take our next step together, but on our separate paths,’ they explained. ‘We will always be grateful for the love we’ve shared and will always work together to raise our two beautiful dogs.’
The pair have no children together.
